In order to set up direct deposit or to transfer money in or out of your bank account, you need to have both your account number and the bank's routing number. The routing number, also known as an ABA number, is a unique nine-digit code used to identify the financial institution.
From ING Direct's homepage, click on "Learn More" on the left-hand side of the screen.
Click on "FAQ" on the left-hand side of the screen.
In the window that pops up, choose the menu tab "Help Topics" at the top.
Click on "Transfer Basics" in the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen. ING's routing number is stated in the second-to-last question.
