Quicken is a software designed for managing personal finances. Quicken saves backup files in the .QBB format. These backup files can easily be imported into the software and restored.

Step 1

Open Quicken.

Step 2

Click the "File" menu and select "Open or Restore Company."

Step 3

Choose "Restore a backup copy (.qbb)" and click the "Next" button.

Step 4

Select "Local Backup" and click "Next."

Step 5

Find your .QBB file in the drop-down box, select it and click "Open."

Step 6

Select the .QBB file again and click "Save." This will import the .QBB file into Quicken as a .QBW file.
