Quicken is a software designed for managing personal finances. Quicken saves backup files in the .QBB format. These backup files can easily be imported into the software and restored.
Click the "File" menu and select "Open or Restore Company."
Choose "Restore a backup copy (.qbb)" and click the "Next" button.
Select "Local Backup" and click "Next."
Find your .QBB file in the drop-down box, select it and click "Open."
Select the .QBB file again and click "Save." This will import the .QBB file into Quicken as a .QBW file.
