Even during economic downturns, you can attract wealth and money to fulfill various goals, such as starting a business, improving your personal finances or creating a charitable foundation that supports others. Some steps to attract wealth require contacting business leaders and other wealthy people, while other steps require mental focus.
Visualize attracting and receiving money and wealth. For example, you can spend several minutes each day seeing yourself receiving checks and money orders in the mail for products or services you sell. You can also cut out photographs and images of dollar bills and coins, paste them onto a sheet of paper or cardboard and hang the images on your bedroom wall or above your office space at home, places where you frequently go so you see the photographs and images several times a day.
Hold positive feelings or vibrations about money. According to Abraham Hicks in "The Law of Attraction," by maintaining positive vibrations you can attract and manifest wealth and money. "The Law of Attraction" states that like attracts like. Therefore, if you feel positive emotions when you think about getting money, you can attract more money into your life. When you see other people with money, feel appreciation for what they have. Each time you receive money, feel good about it and those occurrences will increase.
Write down positive affirmations about wealth and money. For example, you could write, “I am receiving more and more money every day from the sale of my new books and audiotapes.” You can also speak positive affirmations. Written or spoken, positive affirmations help train your subconscious mind to create and find ideas, insights and action steps you can take to get money. As you continue to write and/or speak positive affirmations, your subconscious mind will continue to work to attract the wealth you want.
Promote events you are hosting or organizing. You can do this by announcing community fundraisers or sales you are having on the radio or by contacting your local newspaper to get the events announced. If you list your events as “community events,” radio stations and newspapers might allow you to announce the events free of charge. People who care about what you are raising money for (e.g., children’s hospital, medical cure for cancer) can stop by the event and drop off a donation. National and international charities raise thousands, some millions, of dollars this way.
Meet with venture capitalists, foundations and companies that provide funding to industries you operate in. For example, if you own a research firm that works to find cures for diseases, you can contact pharmaceutical companies and let them know about your research efforts. If they, venture capitalists, financial institutions and foundations think your research work, especially if you create a popular online tool (e.g., Facebook, Twitter) or medical cure, will make them money, they might fund your research efforts, giving you thousands or millions of dollars to complete your work.
